Leahy’s Fun Farm was established in August 1996. The Open Farm concept developed around the idea to open a large collection of vintage tractors and machinery which Eddie Leahy and his wife Eileen had collected, to the public.
The farm applied for funding from East Cork Area Development and this funding was vital for the growth of the business. It was decided at this stage to build a coffee shop to attract more visitors to the farm. |
